ABTT Awards

The ABTT Technician of the Year was awarded to our own Alex Hitchcock. The award was presented by Peter Roberts to Alex who is involved with training and educational development within Stage Technologies. He has programmed many of the major West End shows and has been writing the National Occupational Skills Syllabus for theatre automation.

We were awarded the Engineering Product of the Year for our CH:i chain hoist intelligence system. This technology allows our own and some other manufacturers’ chainhoists to be fully integrated fully into a control system with stage elevators, power flying and performer flying winches. The chainhoists can be synchronised together and be plotted in the same cues as other axes.
